THE ONE NOTE PROJECT

Write one note. Offer it freely. Let it be enough.

The One Note Project is the signature initiative of Better Days: an ongoing invitation to write one handwritten note of encouragement, appreciation, or care and offer it to another person.

A small act, without a larger ask.

A note can be a moment of encouragement, appreciation, or care. It does not need to start a movement or become something bigger to matter. The gesture itself can be enough.

A NOTE FOR YOU

You don't have to have it all figured out to be worthy of care.

With care, better days.

Write one note.

A few honest words, handwritten. Encouragement, appreciation, or a simple expression of care.

Offer it freely.

Offer the note to another person, with respect for their comfort and no expectation in return.

Let it be enough.

There is nothing to document, complete, or carry forward. The note can end right there.

One note can simply be one note.

No response is required. There is no photo to share, no public proof of participation, and no expectation that the recipient write another note or pass anything forward. Nothing is owed in return.

You can keep it simple.

Notice something you appreciate. Offer a little encouragement. You don't need to give advice or find the perfect phrase. If a starting point helps:

“I appreciated the time you took to listen.”
“Just a small reminder that I'm thinking of you.”

These are possibilities, not a script. Use words that feel natural to you.

Care is an invitation, not an obligation.

If writing a note feels right, there is room for that. If it doesn't, that is okay too. Participation should always remain voluntary — for the person offering care and the person receiving it.

A little more connected.

Have a thought, an idea, or simply want to say hello? There's space for conversation here.
